Welcome to CHiLL, where outdoor cooking meets smart design and lasting craftsmanship. Founded in 2023 & based in Malta, we specialise in the design and importation of beautiful and functional outdoor kitchens and premium grills. What began as a personal project to build the perfect seaside friendly outdoor kitchen has grown into a brand dedicated to durable, beautiful, and functional outdoor cooking solutions. Today, we offer our premium Griglia BBQs and our modular outdoor kitchen range, Bloqo, along with fully bespoke designs tailored to your space and lifestyle.
WHERE IT BEGAN
CHiLL was founded by husband and wife duo Manuel and Gaynor Azzopardi, who live by the sea and know first-hand how harsh the coastal environment can be on outdoor materials. The first BBQ and kitchen were designed and built for their own home, engineered to withstand sea spray, corrosion, and years of use. That personal challenge became the foundation of everything CHiLL creates.
OUR VALUES
Manuel, the brain and heart behind CHiLL, has been creating since childhood. He began with painting, moved into sketching, and eventually evolved into designing the furniture and outdoor cooking system he crafted by hand. An experienced designer and artist, he believes that art and furniture should never exist as separate worlds. Every material, every joint, and every detail is selected with the belief that a piece can carry a soul and express emotion and intention in the same way that a painting can.
This passion for design, seamless aesthetics, and long lasting materials led to the creation of Griglia, our BBQ system shaped by real cooking experience and artistic vision.
Gaynor, co-founder, is an electrical engineer with exceptional attention to detail and strong project leadership. She ensures that every kitchen, whether it is a Bloqo modular layout or a fully bespoke build, is planned, organised, and executed with precision. Her structured approach and dedication to quality make every project a smooth and enjoyable experience.
